X Scion Of Nobility: The Corceiro family was well known before the calamity for its vast vinyards and wines, before the snow stole their fortune. Denis still carries the name- and some of the money- but naught else from his family.

X Gladiator Gladiator: Denis made his name as a pit heel, known for his dexterity, speed, and eye for performance. The fighter that the audience loved to hate, everywhere from the Bloodsands to illegal pits in La Noscea, to even- briefly- the Arcadion.

X Winged Insect/Funeral Pyre: Denis is unnaturally beautiful. Almost supernaturally so, and yet he is entirely mundane. His aether conduits are constricted, he cannot manipulate aether, he does not even have a job stone, and yet...theres something oddly hypnotizing about the man in a way that defies explanation.

X To Be Loved/To Be Reviled: Denis is well known by both the less-scrupulous citizenry of Ul'dah and by the guard for his 'antics'. The stories are varied, and many of the acts attributed to his devilry dubious at best, but even so. He is a loose canon. Just as likely to fuck you as he is to fight you. To pay a merchant extra as he is to steal outright. He loses fights for fun, they say. They say many things.

X- Fiddlestick: Through methods he is neither in control of, nor understands, Denis has been implanted with a denizen of the void. Their bond-if it can be called that- is unique and strange, but through it Denis has a very limited access to magics. Those that are sensitive to such things will be able to feel the presence of the void within the man but, just like him, it is a graceful being. Alluring and sickening in one.

X- Dirty Little Animal: Denis has a chemical fascination, one he has honed and perfected over years of debauchery. His drug and alcohol tolerance- and, thus, his poison tolerance- is incredibly high for an elezen, and the man is well versed in their procurement and application. Ask the right questions, and he may even share his secrets.

X - Color In Your Cheeks: Denis is a Temple Knight deserter. This has the double effect of making him infamous in ishgard, and his service in the temple knights weighing so heavily on the man that he hates the cold. He very rarely- and only under duress- visits Ishgard, and even the chilly sea winds of La Noscea sometimes prove too uncomfortable for the thin man.

X Denis filters most of his worldview and interactions through the lens of 'performance' and 'stories.' Oftentimes he toes the line with inappropriate with his words or implications.
